Yes you can walk in and don't see not that many people but that can change in 5 minutes by people who made reservations. The regular distance required then we have also 12 foot distance sections. We have different sections with social distance. Because of whats going on we highly recommend reservations. The whole biergarten is surrounded with huge fans producing a nice breeze, totally of 10 Big fans, more then anybody in town. Huge European 15 foot wide umbrellas for shade, Palm trees, and have a special military grade netting to reduce the heat and UV.
we have a fantastic outside maybe the best outside. Yes during nice weather we keep the inside closed we make expectations to some people who call us and ask for the limited seating inside if its available. Reading a review about being hot outside and no fans.
We can’t wait to return to sample the Beef Roulade, Sauerbraten, and the Gefuellter Schweinebauch (Stuffed Pork Belly).
Having worked in a German restaurant and growing up with home made German food I am so excited to have found a true German haven of taste right in my backyard. The spaetzle and cabbage served with the shank were perfect choices to accent the mouth-watering experience. Perfectly browned, so tender and juicy, the meat melted off the bone. The pork shank was a masterpiece of culinary delight. My wife’s sliders were absolutely delicious and the fritten which were served with them were excellent and on par with Trappe Door fritten. Our main courses consisted of Hans & Franz Reuben Sliders and Schweinehaxe (Pork Shank). Sipping from “Das Boot” and enjoying delicious appetizers of Koenigsberger Klopse and Fried Sauerkraut Balls we felt so comfortable and at home. intoxicating, and the service was excellent. We were sat immediately even though we were 15 minutes early for our reservation (which I highly recommend you make). Walking into Hans & Franz Biergarten my wife and I were greeted by the owner with a smile and a warm welcome.
